You will learn the basics of working with Illustrator CS2 and CS3 to make simple logos, illustrations or other artwork for print and online products. You also will learn the more advanced features of Illustrator. After taking the course, you should know how to create simple and complex graphics and illustrations, print them out or post them to the Web and store them for easy retrieval later.
This course has 16 sections:
- Adobe Illustrator CS4: New Features (1 hour) Explore Illustrator CS4 interface enhancements and customize it to meet your requirements.
- Adobe Illustrator CS4: Level 1 (6 hours, 50 minutes) Learn to use Illustrator CS4 by drawing and manipulating simple shapes to create a label.
- Adobe Illustrator CS4: Level 2 (8 hours) Create complex illustrations and manage color across a range of devices.
- Adobe Illustrator CS4 : Level 1 (Macintosh) (6 hours, 50 minutes) Learn to use Illustrator CS4 by drawing and manipulating simple shapes to create a label.
- Adobe Illustrator CS4: Level 2 (Macintosh) (8 hours) Create complex illustrations and manage color across a range of devices.
- Adobe Illustrator CS3: Level 1 (7 hours) Start by drawing and manipulating simple shapes to create logos. You also will combine text and graphics to create advertisements.
- Adobe Illustrator CS3: Level 2 (9 hours) Learn how to create complex illustrations and how to manage color across platforms. Then, preview your work on mobile devices.
- Illustrator CS2: New Features (1 hour, 30 minutes) This quick course shows Illustrator users what slick new upgrades appear in CS2.
- Illustrator CS2: Creating Basic Illustrations (13 hours, 20 minutes) Draw and manipulate simple shapes to create logos. This course is especially helpful to those who have little or no experience with Illustrator.
- Illustrator CS2: Creating More Complex Illustrations (15 hours, 20 minutes) You will use the advanced features of Illustrator to create clean, crisp, complex illustrations.
- Illustrator CS2: Creating More Complex Illustrations for the Web and Print (12 hours, 30 minutes) Once you’ve successfully created complex illustrations, you’ll need this course to teach you how to print documents or prepare them for the Web. You also will learn to control colors across platforms.
- Illustrator CS2: Managing Graphics, Text, and Files (10 hours, 30 minutes) You will learn to use Adobe Bridge to create a well-organized file system for all your creative assets.
- Adobe Illustrator CS2: Level 1 for Macintosh (Part 1) (5 hours) Start by drawing and manipulating simple shapes to create logos and go on to learn how to combine text and graphics to create advertisements.
- Adobe Illustrator CS2: Level 1 for Macintosh (Part 2) (3 hours, 40 minutes) You will learn to use Adobe Bridge to create a well-organized file system for all your creative assets.
- Adobe Illustrator CS2: Level 2 for Macintosh (Part 1) (5 hours) You will use the advanced features of Illustrator to create clean, crisp, complex illustrations.
- Adobe Illustrator CS2: Level 2 for Macintosh (Part 2) (4 hours, 20 minutes) Once you’ve successfully created complex illustrations, you’ll need this course to teach you how to print documents or prepare them for the Web. You also will learn to control colors across platforms.
Who should take this course:
This course is intended for designers, publishers, pre-press professionals, marketing communications professionals or anyone who has to create and store illustrations, logos, advertisements or other graphic elements.

- This course requires Flash Player 8 or higher. After signing in, you may be prompted to install the latest version of Flash or Shockwave the first time you launch a course.
- For Mac users, we recommend accessing this course with Firefox or Safari 2.x or higher.
